Comment: I am purchasing a home using an FHA 203k loan. As of right now (prior to my home inspection, using the disclosures provided) there is a roof to be replaced, a plumbing system not holding pressure (appears to be a leak in the basement of a one story house), the furnace didn't turn on (utilities were off at the time of the inspection by the sellers, so the furnace may just need a tune up or it may need replacement), there is one basement window that is broken and a small section of ceiling to be replaced in the kitchen. I need a few bids for the work to be done (with or without the roof, I am prepared to have a separate contractor for the roof). I am able to gain access to the house to meet a contractor for an estimate. Time is of the essence, I need to close on the loan in 45 days and need the estimates to close. Work would need to be done shortly after the closing so the house can be occupied.

Comment: My house had a bay window installed sometime before I bought it. The wood up under the eaves (between the gutter and the outer wall of the home) around the bay window is a mess. It doesn't fit together well and in one place there is an opening into the eaves where birds nest in the spring. I want that all torn out and replaced/made perfect. This will undoubtedly require the gutter there to be removed, new plywood cut and fitted, flashing added or replaced and the gutters re-installed. I can paint it myself as I'm planning on painting the whole house this spring/early summer.
