Comment: We currently have a semi-circular glass block foyer with a strange roof line that has caused all types of water problems, i.e. rain pouring over onto people below and rotting the part that extends outside and forms the ceiling of the front "porch." We have tried to fix it several times or had it fixed, but there is a leak somewhere above that seems to add to the problem roof line. We want the roof replaced, but that will not solve this problem, so we would like the "roof" changed to a turret above the foyer, which would actually become a walk in closet off the upstairs bathroom. We will need someone who can do a structural analysis to see if the glass block can support such an addition. If it can, we would want part of the structure to also include glass block if possible in order to provide light and give continuity to the appearance of the front of the house.
