Comment: This is a front load Frigidaire Affinity. The door latch broke. I bought a latch to replace the broken one. No problem there. The problem is that the broken piece of the latch was still in the piece where the latch inserts and I couldn't get it out. So of course, I messed up and unscrewed the piece (forget my line of thought) and the piece fell into the washer. It's dangling from the wires but I can't grab it to try to get it back and I don't know how to take the front off the washer to get at that part. This is probably really simple for someone who knows what they are doing. Certainly not me.
