Comment: The first five feet of the east wall of the house is brick laminate. It has buckled and pulled away from the house two or three inches. Two foundation inspectors have found no problems with the basement wall below. Both have suggested that it might be possible to grind out some of the existing tuck pointing and using a hydrolic press (such as on a Bobcat or front loader) push the wall back in place, bore through to the wood studs behind the wall and put in bolts to hold the wall in place.

Comment: I have a 1927 carpenter home in Beech Grove. It has had foundation issues that have been resolved. But a lot of damage has occured to the bricks over time as well as fixing the foundation last year. I have had one estimate but would like a couple more. The first estimate had an estimate with one lump charge with no breakdown it cost. This is something I have never had given to me. An estimate to me list the cost for each item. I would really like to work with a company that is on Angie's list.
