Comment: My 1960's townhouse in Woodlake subdivision (near Olive and Woods Mill in West St Louis County) has popcorn ceiling throughout basement, 2 bedrooms, kitchen, living room, dining room, and stairways and hallways plus 2.5 baths! It's just everywhere. It looks like popcorn ceiling panels were installed when the condo conversion from apartments took place in the mid 1980's. I purchased the condeo in 1989. As part of painting the whole place this year, step one is removing those popcorn ceilings. I'd like to end up with flat, smooth ceilings painted ceiling white.
