Comment: I have a corian-like countertop ( I think it is officially Nevamar, but it is solid, not laminate). There are three cracked areas. 1. at corner of cooktop--small in length, widest of the cracks. 2. crack near sink. Can see where edges meet and on edge higher than other. Crack is extending. 3. Hairline crack in another area--extending rapidly. Looked in the cabinet underneath this crack and the crack is all the way through the surface. I'd also be interested in having the material polished/cleaned, or whatever it is that can be done with this surface to make it look newer. Not wanting to replace counter at this time. Countertop was probably installed in 1989 by previous owner.
