Comment: I have an existing 10ft x 20ft deck that is about 10 ft above a concrete patio below. I have Trex plank material from a deck that belonged to a house that was destroyed in a fire. The deck was not harmed by the fire, but it had to be torn out to start rebuilding the house. The Trex material has some existing screw holes in it, but is otherwise in good shape. I’d like to use it for the planking of the deck. The new deck will be built around the concrete patio and extending from it. There will be 2 stair cases. 1 will go from the new deck up to the existing deck. One will go from the new deck down to ground level at the foot of the deck (approximately 7 ft. high) The new deck area is approximately 418 sq. ft. plus stairs. I have specs and pictures of the site I can send to anyone who is interested in seeing them.
