Comment: Our back yard has a pool that covers most of the yard. We just have rocks surrounding it and a boring cinder block wall that makes it look like a prison with its grey coloring and nothing by it. We would like ideas on how to make it look more private and inviting, yet we want plans that will not be harmful to our puppies and that will not make a mess of our pool. We like colorful cacti as long as they are not prickly and we have a low budget. We just want to liven up the backyard a bit. We are even open to painting the cinderblock if it would look good. Also, out front yard is all dirt and one tree and the other side of the driveway is a tee stump that needs to be taken out or made into something. Both areas are very small and probably wont take much to spice up.
