Comment: This is actually for our dogs. We have three older dogs that are having trouble getting up the outside steps to our front door (a townhouse in Silver Spring). The steps are poorly made in the first place and one is much higher than the second. We would like to build a ramp that would provide a gradual ascent for them over a distance; probably best if they are 2 or 3 small steps up with enough flat distance between the steps to allow the dogs to climb up entirely on one step, then step up to the next.
