Comment: I'm helping my mother-in-law (Pauline) who was flooded out of her home at the mouth of the Winooski. The 30x50 one story home has severe dry rot on sills/floor joists due to 50 years of wet springs. We either have to replace the sills/floor joists and all sheetrock or demolish the house and put modular/stick built home on existing/reduced size foundation raised 2' to above flood level.
