Comment: Would like to get bids for the basement to be repaired. I have a drainage problem i need resolved because water has caused a lot of damage. Once the drainage problem is resolved and some foundation work repaired i also need the non bearing walls removed because they have mold and damage to them. New insulation to be installed and then new walls/drywall put up. I also need the carpeting removed and replaced as well.

Comment: Filed insurance claim. Adjuster visit 2/2/10; don't yet have estimate. Bulging wall pushing against pipes, including gas line. May be weight bearing wall. Home built in 1868 and although wall is interior, there's not a full basement and there's dirt behind the wall which is where the burst pipe's water ran. Want to ensure up to code so could require blocks.
