Comment: Purchased 1 yr ago. Had inspection "no show stoppers". Basement has dirt floor built in 1966. There are cracks in the walls, the walls have shifted a bit and there are floor jacks or posts in place. Inspector said to verify that the posts were correctly positioned. I had a company come in and give a quote, after he picked me up off the floor I just said I would need to have a few more estimates on the job. I don't have the kind of money he was talking about. The block itself is in good shape no breaks no crumbling, just shifting in the walls a bit and cracks in morter.
