Comment: We need a side mount as the area for the screw is too short for a conventional garage door opener. I do not want to have any deals with Overhead Doors. They are the ones that installed the current door opener and door. But, in spite of their promises that it would work fine and they would maintain the door opener, they did not follow up through the problems, they gave up after several tries, and it was my husband who actually removed the light cover and light to give the screw more room to operate, since then we had no problems for several years. The house is now rented and I understand that the motor has burned out, therefore we now need a side mounted motor, which I understand they now exist.
