Comment: we had central heating and air installed when we purchased the home. The work was done by the seller and was not warranted. Since installation, too much air flow goes to the 3rd floor, not enough to the second floor. So the 3rd floor is too cold in summer, too hot in winter, compared to the 2nd floor. We think the problem is volume air flow, not temp of air being blown. Some adjustments to the, including turning off some 3rd floor vents have help, but not solved the problem. The system was installed by a very inexperienced tech who said he was "a bit over his head" when we discussed with him. We need someone to look at the whole system, not just a quick check. We have checked for leaks and a leak was repaired and freon re-charged. This also helped, but would like to fix air distribution problem. Thanks!
