Comment: currently my heater is not working. when i call for heat from the thermostat, i hear a click from the fan control board (honeywell st9120u), but then nothing. the inducer doesn't turn on to start the ignition process. after calling a local hvac guy, they think it's the gas smart valve (honeywell sv9520) which is at fault. they shorted the inducer so the fan seems to work and they tried sucking through the tube to get the air proving switch to switch, but still no heat (despite the valve's green light showing a steady heartbeat). they told me that they're getting power to the valve from the fan control board, but not getting power from the valve to the inducer. so it seems like there's two indications that the valve is at fault: 1. no power going to the inducer from the valve, and 2. ignition sequence not starting despite shorting the inducer. would you agree with that assessment and could you email me xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx an estimate on how much it would cost you
