Recommend using moisture resistant staples (MAX 3/8" STAPLES) to attach product to roof deck every 10" to the underside of the roof deck at the soffit area. Additional Step for Raft-R-Mate vents with Air Stop: Bend down at the accordion hinge. Fit tightly over the top plate and staple to the top plate. B. Install Loose-fill Natural Fiber Fire Resistant Insulation in attic (Approximately an additional 8 inches x 3000 sq feet) to achieve an R-30 Rating. Added Fire resistant should have at least a Fire Rating of class of 1/A. Insulation should be formaldehyde-free. Insulation should be kept three inches away from recessed lighting fixtures unless the fixture is marked "I.C." (Insulated Ceiling).
