Reason for test: Odor elimination
Comment: Guest room had sudden onset of odor (within 12 hours). I have had a home inspector, critter control, handyman (2) check it out, new carpet and pad (5 months old and runs throughout home, but smell is only in guest room) so I had that carpet and pad removed, painted walls, bleached metal closet racks, repolished woodwood, clean and disinfected windows and sills. The smell is still there. It has been over 4 weeks and I have aired it out almost daily for 6-8 hours per day. The odor has not moved into any other room or hallway, just the guest room. Nothing has been spilled, etc. The furnishings have all been moved to another room 3 weeks ago and none of the furnishings have the odor. Please let me know what else is left to do.
