Comment: Basement is accessed from outside my home, basement is half concrete/half dirt. My house is small and therefore the basement is also. I am a senior citizen and unable to get down to my basement (last 6-7 years. Comment: I live In the dorms here on campus. I was sick last semester, came home for winter break, and came back for spring semester and have been sick for 14 weeks straight. I've been to the doctor 7 times and have been put on a ton of medications because they aren't sure what is going on until I recently got established at a doctors office where they ran a bunch of tests and did x-rays. My doctors highly suspect mold in my dorm room because after being home for 48 hours my symptoms hadn't completely gone away, but had subsided. I've been in contact with the school about fixing this and they came in saw the mold in the bathroom, and spray painted it white like it never was even there. They then proceeded to put a dehumidifier in my room as well as the living room and sent maintenance to look at the filters in our room. I've talked to RA's on campus and UTC has never won a legal case against mold and all that they do is try to cover it up and not fix the problem. Someth
