Comment: We rented this house, and I can see where the black mold is in a few areas, and there is a strong odor that as the temperature rises, it gets worse. It could be under the tile in the kitchen, I really don't know. I'm not sure if the homeowner rented this house because of this problem or not, it's an older house (circa 1965) and I don't know if he will claim this on his homeowners insurance or not. We haven't spoken with him yet, as we wanted to get an estimate of how much it will cost. As far as health issues, my sister keeps getting dizzy, as well as my mom, and both my sister and I have a cough that isn't going away, and we're usually healthy and rarely get sick. I have no idea how involved this project could be, the whole house could be packed with mold for all we know, we haven't had it tested.
