Comment: I am pre-screening custom home builders in the Parker / SE Aurora area for the construction of a new single-family custom home in the Tallyn's Reach neighborhood. The plans are already at the City of Aurora for review and will likely be available for permit in a few weeks. The home is three-stories (two above and one below grade) apprx 5,500sf. Exterior finishes are higher-end (veneer stone, real cedar & aluminum clad windows). Three car garage. Interior finishes commensurate with a house of this size but nothing extravagant. Complete site-work and landscape design included. Land/Homeowner is a licensed general contractor in the commercial construction sector and has knowledge and experience to communicate well with the selected contractor. This project has a strict budget and homeowner is looking for a GC that self-performs some of the tradework required. This project is a quick starter with a desired total duration of 6-months or less.
