Comment: I would like something like a cross between a deck/gazebo/tea house, which would be right off the rear patio doors, having railing, and a solid peaked or hip roof with shingles matching the house, and steps leading down to the lawn. The point of this structure would be to eliminate the steps down to the patio, and provide shade and wind protection for grilling and lounging.
