Because the existing tile in the surround is original to the house (circa 1960 pink with black trim), I would like estimates for 2 options: 1) Replace the entire surround by removing all the tile and drywall, installing cement board and new tile. 2) Repair the damaged wall by removing the tile and drywall from the wall with the faucet, installing one sheet of cement board, and re-tiling with a combination of whatever old tile can be reused and new tile as necessary.
