Comment: WaterProof basement. <br />Inspection needs to include <br />evaluating the roof, the grading and the perimeter drain to determine root cause of repetitive basement flooding. <br /> <br />Evaluation of Gutters and downspouts ability to evacuate water away properly. <br />Size of gutters and quantity of downspouts may be insufficient for the roof surface of the house. <br />Proper grading for downspout water to be diverted away from house. <br /> <br />we have <br />overflowing gutters <br />faulty grading <br />faulty house perimeter drain <br />When storms strike or heavy downpour accumulate lots of water in a short time <br />water coming down some wall, enough to make a small puddle on the floor. <br />1 window well , filling up with water despite a functioning drain and flooding half of the basement with less than an inch of water <br />New sum pump.
