Miami’s real estate clocks in at an average of $364 per square foot, placing the city among America’s top 10 most expensive. However, Miami reports a much lower than average household income – only 60 percent of the U.S. average. Charleston, Atlanta and Tampa are also hot real estate markets; their average per-square-foot prices clock in at over $100.
