I hired Avec to repair a deck and stairs damaged in a storm; at the same time I had them replace an adjoining deck. The experience with Avec could not have been better. The work was completed on time and looks great -- very high quality. The customer service was even better. The owner personally oversaw the work and immediately addressed a minor issue with the construction team. After the work was completed, I needed additional documentation for the insurance company. Again, the owner immediately responded with everything I needed (and more!). In an era where contractors are not responsive to the customer, Avec is doing great!

A very pleasant experience from start to finish. We were adding a deck onto the back of our townhome. Kati was very polite and explained the process thoroughly. Construction started quickly, and the entire deck was up and inspected in less than three days. Kati was in communication with us throughout the project. Quality of the deck is quite good. On the second day we noticed that the trim which runs on the outer side of the railing was missing. We notified Kati and it was added without any issues. Very good service!

We had a screened porch and patio done by Avec Construction and we can't be any happier. Kati and her crew were friendly, professional, and a pleasure to work with. Kati was the first contractor to respond to our request (less than 5 minutes after submitting) and her attention to our questions and needs continued throughout the entire project. We were impressed by the quality of craftmanship and Kati did not hesitate to reaccomplish something if it didn't look quite right. We would recommend Avec Construction to anyone looking for a a quality product at a reasonable price. We will definitely use them again. Avec is A++ in our book!!

Avec construction is a great company. We wokred with Kati the owner, and fron day one everything went according to plan, We did a deck and there were some issues that arose with Fairfax County Code but Kati worked out all the details and returned to the County to get permits. This was the least stressful home project we have ever done. Kati and he crew arrived on the day scheduled and were focused in their work. We went to work and never worried abut anything. The Crew cleaned up everything and our backyard and deck look great! I can not praise them enough! Thanks IG and CF

I was extremely pleased with this company. Kati was awesome from the beginning to the end of the project. The crew was professional, was given frequent updates. I had to make some minor changes and there were no problems doing that. I would highly recommend AVEC

The Avec experience was totally enjoyable. I met with Kati, the owner, who listened to what I had in mind for the deck. She took her measurements and later presented me with a design layout. I made a few changes to the design to which she promptly redrew the designs to my liking. The guys who worked on the deck were prompt and efficient in their work. The deck turned out far better than expected. Avec's attention to detail was great. Our neighbors, who just had decks built within the past year or so, love our deck design and the craftsmanship Avec put into the work. Thank you Kati. High Quality work at a reasonable price!

Avec Construction is one of the few contractors that will handle small brick jobs at a reasonable price. From start to finish, Kati was a visible presence and very responsive in her communications with me. Her crew, Mario and helper were painstakingly meticulous in laying and cutting the brick to give us the appearance we wanted in our back yard. I highly recommend this company!
