Service was good. A&R was prompt about calling, sending the estimate, and getting the job done. However, the work quality could have been better. They left some stains on my carpet, the tile, and bathroom fixtures. Also, the paint coverage was not consistent (e.g. some areas of the doors and other trim were transparent).

Antonio was always attentive to our needs and he and his crew were very pleasant to work with. They finish the job a little sooner than expected, without compromising its quality and the cost was very competitive. We will definitely work with them again.

Antonio provided a timely estimate and was able to start on my job fairly quickly, despite juggling other jobs. Although I only saw him once on the job, his crew came ontime every day and were remarkably sensitive to our family living in the house throughout the painting process. They moved furniture, removed wall plates and hardware, then cleaned up and put everything away at the end of each day. It was a very satisfying experience and result.

They did a wonderful job on my house. I had to travel out of town the day they were suppose to start and they didnt even hesitate. The job was done very quickly as well. I came back to the house the day after my trip and they were all done. The customer service is great and they are quick to please. I would highly recomend them to anyone and the price was the best in town.

Some rooms were painted well but some rooms were not painted evenly. Some walls had dried runny paint or small lumps of paint. Some edges between walls of different colors were not handled well. After-project clean-up was also to-be-desired. I got paint spatter on mirrors, door knobs, toilets, etc. I also got some dried paint on the carpet and hardwood floor even though the crew had covered the area during painting.

Antonio called me within sixty seconds of submitting my request on line. He arrived promptly for our appointment for the estimate and his estimate was the best of five contractors. The work was top notch and completed on budget and faster than projected. We had them paint our entire house before we moved in and we are totally satisfied with the results!

Antonio and his crew came to our home in December 2012. He quoted that the job would take two weeks to 20 days for completion. To our surprise, the job was completed early! They did multiple jobs for us, and each one turned out great. They painted the interior of our home and made a chair rail which included shadow boxes that ran along the curved stair case. They also removed tiled floors in three rooms and installed hard wood floors in their place. Antonio and his crew removed the carpet on the stair case and replaced it with beautiful hard wood stairs. The stair case is not your standard one, it is a curved staircase which made the job more difficult; but it turned out beautifully! We are very satisfied with the work that Antonio and his crew did for us. We would without a doubt recommend A& R Home Improvement.

Mr.Rangel both called and e-mailed me less than 5 minutes after I completed my request through Home Advisors.com. After talking to him at the phone I felt very impressed by his professionalism, knowledge and availability. Not only his estimate was reasonable, but what I liked the most was that everything that I requested was specified on it. His experienced and detailed-oriented crew knew what they were doing, kept all the areas organized and clean. If you are looking for a professional, knowledgeable and responsible contractor, A&R should be your choice. I am giving him the maximum score (5), since he exceeded my expectations.
