Excellent ! We assigned the basement project to AFM and they superceded our expectations in all areas: keep within budget, time maintenance, top notch quality and all in a timely fashion. We have already recoemmneded them to our friends, and also will be assigning our future projects to them !

We needed a complete basement overhaul in our 100y old cape house. We needed a basement that added genuine value to our home. Of all the contractors who Servicemagic referred us to, Tony from AFM was the fasted to answer and to pay us a visit. He was the only one who took some time to give us ideas on site, while others took a peek and gave us a vague and high quote. He had a great vision for our basement, a solid strategy and incredible problem solving skills. He was always there himself which is why we could trust him. We are so incredibly pleased that we'd be happy to invite you to take a look at our basement if you consider hiring Tony.

Project: Remodel a Basement

Tony ran over budget and it took him 6 weeks to finish a 4 week job. His electrician took a different job and wouldnt come to do my basements electrical work. We had to find another electrical company which charged me an additional $900 to do the same work. Tony kept enclosing work before the inspectors could inspect the work. He was even issued a stop work order. When the project was finally over he asked for extra money to pay his worker, on TOP of what we had agreed to in our contract. He then left me with no dumpster and a massive pile of gargabe in my yard.

Response by Action Floor Maintenance: This project became very challenging,unforeseen situations as well as obligations to meet local codes caused schedule to run over,and budget to go over approximately 3%. Contract obligations were met, letter with full explanations submitted to customer.

Tony arrived on time,did great work, and did it for a very competitive price. When an issue arose with installation of the toilet, he didn't just cover up the problem, he took the time to make it right. He cleaned up the work area nicely when he was done. Will hire Tony again.

Project: Install Natural Stone Tile

Tony was great. He walked into a much harder job than it at first appeared, and he worked slowly are carefully to ensure the work was done well. The job took longer than he thought and planned for, but it was I who insisted on renegotiating, not Tony. The work done reflects the care and pride he put into the job and his work. We're now proud of our kitchen and delighted to have Tony produce an AFM- another fine masterpiece.

Project: Remodel a Basement

My wife and I wanted to finish our basement to have a play room for our children. We had contacted quite few contractors and Tony really made us feel comfortabe with his vision for the job. What really impressed us, is that after telling Tony we had chosen him, he came over one evening and spent an hour looking around and just thinking about the project. I felt that he really cared about making it the best room possible. His work was very good, and he was very easy and profesional to work with.
