Project: Mow Grass and Maintain Landscaping

I have no idea how they rated so high.They would not show up on time, did a "mow,blow and go".Did not keep up with any trimming. Charged $60.00 for an hour of work,which is what they thought was a yard job!I am ill and cannot do my own yardwork anymore.I refused to give them a rating until they worked for me for awhile.They came three times since June 13th and I fired them today August 8th for not showing up again.Last time they were scheduled they showed up two days late.A real nightmare.I have since hired another company.

I have a re-sod of my front and side yard that required almost 17 palettes. Donald contacted me the day I posted my project on Service Magic (it was a Sunday!!). He came out to do an estimate on Tuesday. After receiving two other work estimates, I chose Acucut. They came out on a Friday to remove the old sod and leveled the ground. The came out the following day and laid the sod, burying a new Comcast cable prior to that. They were slightly short on what was needed (about a half a palette) and contacted me the next day to arrange to bring out the sod to finish the job which was completed on Tuesday. Sod looks great and is taking hold.

Donald came out on Sunday to give me an estimate and he came out on Saturday to install the sod after removing the old sod on Friday. He and his crew worked tirelessly to get the job done. His estimate of the amount of sod needed was amazingly close to what was delivered. Overall a very good job.

Very professional and did what they actually said they would do! If there was even a slight delay (due to weather), Acucut would call prior to our scheduled appointment and reschedule. A fresh apprach given that I usually am the one to track down the contractor. Not with these guys, though - they were on top of it from start to finish. Good job!
