The folks of Affordable Energy Now have helped folks save energy & money since 1982. Our $445 energy audit includes a 3+ hour visit to your home by two BPI Certified Auditors. We bring an infra-red camera to visually check your walls, floors and ceilings for areas of defective insulation. We test your furnace, boiler, and water heater for safe combustion and efficient operation. We check indoor air quality with gas leak meters and material moisture meters to help find unsafe conditions. We track the energy consumption of major household appliances with our testing equipment and provide a professional review of your utility and fuel use billings. We show you the air leakage in your home with a state-of-the-art blower door test and point you and any contractor to specific leakage points for air sealing improvements.
