Company representatives in sales, business partner and customer service consistently courteous, friendly, responsive and knowledgeable. Window installer was careful with my personal property when he was inside. However, he did not clean up the scraps/debris to my satisfaction. It would have been better if they brought a small shop vac, etc. This was not a big enough complaint for me to voice a complaint to the company.

If you want to have a job done on time..do not hire this company. Communication is extremely bad. Window had to be replaced 3 times before it was any good. Still waiting for molding..this project took nine months..The only good thing I can say is the men who put the window in did a good job. Promised a gift card for all inconvenience..still waiting...2 months ago.

Response by American Thermal Energy Corporation: Donna J. is right, the window did have to be replaced 3 times to get it right.The manufactureer of the window kept supplying us with a product that did not meet our standards. This was one of the big contributing factors to switching to a new supplier. We completely understand her frustration. However, we hope this situation shows our dedication to customer service. Unfortunately things don't always go as planncd but ATEC will do whatever they can to make it right!

ATEC was very professional about the installation and cleaned up everything! They even took the time to save my old windows & hardware for them & set them aside so I could sell them. Their customer service tends to be a bit pushy when they call about appointments and the like but it wasn't a major issue. Hence the reason 4 out of 5.

Project: Install or Replace Exterior Doors

After looking around three different places to replace some doors. They truly are the best deal at two fronts. First one is the Armstrong product. It is a very very nice product. Second thing is the dudes that came over here to install them. Did a great job, were neat for the most part (I did find one cigarette in the driveway), they did not track anything into the house, were in and out. So these guys are on top of it. The only thing that was or could have been a problem for someone that is not comfortable with salesmen. He sure was pushing really hard to sell. But that's why they call him a salesman. I just wanted estimates. So get estimates and he will be back. Guaranteed!

late!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! were to install on wen. between 8am&9am called at 9:30 am and nobody new anything! placed 3 calls. at 11:15am got a call said they were brok down on free way! they could have called me!!!!!!! the windows are ok a bit high on $$. came the next day. don't like being lied to!!!!!

I was told installation would be in 3 to 4 weeks and ended up being 7 weeks. Workers were very good in their skills (at least no leaks from the sky light after several severe rains) and pleasant. The company scheduled an inspection 1 week after installation and did not show or call to say they were not coming. I did not appreciate that as I had rushed home to be here to meet with them. The contractor also left the window shipping box here for me to have to deal with in disposing of it.

Everything went well, liked his presentation and product and price was very competative. Windows were installed yesterday and today. They look good. Good clean up. Now its, time will tell how good the windows are.
