Project: Build or Install a Concrete Swimming Pool
customer service was non existent once the contract was sign. Communication was horrible, I had to contact the corporate office to get any answers or movement once the hole was dug. After sale I had to hire a contractor to fix equipment, because the a&s warranty techs sent out could not resolve my issues. (SWG issues) That being said no other company could match the price with upgrades that A&S quoted. The workmanship was great, it was the project management that was lacking. If I was going to hire someone to manage the building of a pool in the future, for the price, I would go with A&S....but due to the hassle, I may manage it myself.

Absolutely professional job from start to finish! The workers started early and did not take more than 10 minutes for lunch on the job and got right back to work! We highly recommend Anthony Sylvan to anyone investing in a concrete pool.

Project: Remodel a Swimming Pool
Anthony & Sylvan's customer service is only for their collections - they don't care less about any issues or problems related to their sub-contractors. No return calls or return emails when you have a problem. My tile was placed an inch too low - below the waterline. No apology or concern. I paid for caulking / mastic in advance - they won't return my calls to schedule. I will seek outside resolution.

Project: Build or Install a Fiberglass Swimming Pool
A&S has state of the art offerings for a competitive price. Read their contract before purchasing, everything is in their favor and not everything is as was purported during sales calls. They have scheduled and installed the pool in three weeks (it is the off season). Project isn't fully complete yet as they cannot put the finish on until the spring temperatures arrive. But the heavy lifting is all done.

The work got started a little bit later than I would have liked, but the people who came out to do the various jobs (sand blasting, tiling, re-finishing) did a great job. They were professional and did the work in a timely manner and left the area clean when they went home for the day. My pool looks very nice. The only thing I would do differently is go with a darker pool finish. I went with the stone finish in a sand color and it stains so easily that I wish I had gone with a color that hides the stains better.

The sales Department (salesman) was very knowledgeable and followed thru on all steps of the construction. This is the 2nd pool installed by both the sales rep Mike Duffy and Anthony & Sylvan pools that I have owned.

Poor planning, subcontractors are difficult to work with, did not come through with any promises. Many hidden costs which were not discussed by the salesman. We are in our 12th week of constuction, and still no pool to swim in? Will not return calls, will not fix anything under warrenty. Very unsatisfied overall with the job. Use cheep supplies for pool. I could go on and on, but I do not recommend this company.

It is still going. The salesman was great but the project manager needs to communicate more with me. Sept 09--Pool is done. The service is great for problems. The pool and spa are working.
