We were very happy with the service that we received and the egress window that was put in. The price was very competitive, the crew showed up when they said they would, and the installation was very professionally done. It looks just like we hoped it would !! They had a lot of equipment, but when they left the area was back in order with a new window. They even were kind enough to put the excess dirt where we wanted it, even though it wasn't real close to the work site, Thank You. The job was completed quickly and professionally and the window looks GREAT. Very satisfied.

The job wasn't calculated correctly. The Contractor thought he could work around the conduit for the electrical and the gas line. That wasn't the case. The electrical and the Gas both had to be moved. If I wasn't an electrician, it would have cost us $500.00 or more. I had to put in about 16 hours of work. I asked him for a discount and all he would take off was $75.00. It cost me 100.00, not to mention the hours I had to put in. It states in their contract that they put the property back in the same condition it was when they began the job. It wasn't the case on this job.

Response by Anto Glass Block, Inc.: As with any projects that involves deep digging there is always a danger that you can encounter a utility line. In our contracts it does NOT state that we will put the property back in the same condition it was when we began the job. Our contracts Do state that it is the customers responsibility to allow our crews clear access to the areas worked on from the exterior and the interior of the home. The contract also states that we are not responsible for anything (electrical, landscaping, gas line etc) that is near the working area. Our crews always try to work carefully. Client was aware of the situation before we started working.

We had a large commercial window installed and we are very happy with it. Quote was done in a timly manner. Installers were on time, professional and friendly. Price was competitive. I referred Anto's for two residential jobs since ours was completed, and both were done with the same excellent results. I would highly recommend Anto's for any glass block job.

I inquired of several local companies in obtaining estimates. The method of presentation and the demeanor of the contractor was by far the most professional. The price quoted was reasonable. I will be contacting this contractor when it comes time to do the job.
