Welcome to APAC Engineering, Inc. It is our goal to provide structural engineering services to the residential community. We strive to bring knowledgeable and courteous service to homeowners, real estate agents, and homebuilders. Our mission is to provide excellent engineering quickly and at a fair price. There are several reasons for hiring a structural engineer to look at your home. First, you may have a crack in your foundation that you're concerned about. Next, a contractor might have proposed an expensive repair to your home stating that it was a structural issue. Finally, a home inspector might have noticed a structural defect in your home and recommended that a structural engineer look at it. There are many good reasons to hire an engineer but the biggest advantage to a homeowner is that the engineer does not perform the construction work. Therefore a structural engineer does not have the conflict of interest that a contractor would have when recommending work. On the contrary, it is our goal to reduce construction costs to save you money while a contractor wants to increase construction costs to improve his bottom line.
