We installed appliances in the newly remodeled homes in Boulder, Colorado; this lead was given to us by Service Magic.

Mike was on time, actually early within the time window the scheduler gave me. He was very informative while doing the servicing, explaining what he was doing at every step and why. Very pleased with his work. Would certainly recommend to others.

Well, the company tried to make up for a poor performance and empty promises from one of their employees whom they have since parted ways with. Mike came out to my house to repair the dishwasher motor 8 days after the first guy was out to diagnose the issue. I never heard back from the first guy with the quote on the part I needed until 2 days later when I called him directly asking what's up? He gave me an approximate quote of $140.00 in labor and about $100 for the part minus the 68.75 I already paid in the diagnostic. When the guy never showed up on Monday when he said he was coming back I called the company. To their surprise they were told by their guy this job had been completed. The nice gal apologized for this particular employee's lack of service and said they were going to let him go due to poor performance at several jobs like mine. I was told at that time on the phone they would honor the quote from the first guy. It was a verbal approximate quote over the phone unfortunately. So when Mike showed up on Wednesday, because they were too busy Tuesday to take care of my broken dishwasher, the dishwasher was fixed in no time and I was given a bill of $293.87. I had already paid $68.95. So this repair cost me time, over a week of a broken dishwasher, phone calls wondering where the repair guy was and a total of $362.82. I said to Mike the $293.87 bill more than what I was quoted. He said nothing, no attempt to offer a discount, like I was told over the phone with customer service when they learned I hadn't been taken care of. I wrote a check and am writing a review. Thanks for the working dishwasher but you didn't keep your word about the original quote from the first guy who was a bad hiring decision. And really a goodwill gesture of some sort of discount would have made me feel less burned... did a good job with the repair but seems like the people who tried to make the bad experience a better didn't quite follow through.
