The actual movers that came to the house was great and they earned a 5, but its the guy in the front office named "Anthon" he promised to give me a discount if I like they on Facebook that was done but did not deliver

I gave a low value for money rating because I felt they were a little expensive for the job I wanted to complete. However, I have no comparison, so probably they are reasonable for their service. I just felt that I overpaid. I also feel that I overpay gasoline, utilities and McDonald's.

The two man team was on time, polite, and professional I needed furniture moved out of the house to the garage for an estate sale. They wrapped each piece carefully. One team member was new so was receiving moving training which seemed to slow things down a bit.

The guys on the team were hardworking and professional. However, we sustained significant damage to our headboard, the stairwell walls and ceiling and they broke a large, antique mirror. We are in disagreement with how the teamleader and now the company have handled the damage. They obviously have a system for getting out of paying for damages. The office manager could take some lessons on dealing with customers... Also, the move took longer than it should have b/c they moved items from the garage through the condo building instead of pulling up to a parking area level with the garage. I would not recommend this company.

Response by Around Town Movers, Inc.: The damage to her headboard,wall and ceiling was not due to any negligence on our part.The stairwell of her new home was much tighter than the previous home and she insisted that the h/b go into that room.The movers informed her that the only way to get the h/b in that particular room was to force it.We asked the couple to sign a waiver not holding us responsible and for any damage to those areas.She agreed then called us the next day to complain about the damage.Her allegations are unfounded as she was fully aware of what would happen.We and I have spoken to her several times and she never complained about lenght of time until this review.
