The guy who gave me the quote telling me he had over 30 years experience was not the guy who worked on my bathroom. The guy who worked on my bathroom didn't show up 2 days and left one day only working a half day. I changed materials on my bathroom due to what I think is recommendations due to lack of his experience. The caulk job on the shower was not good. Everything I asked for in the quote ended up costing "extra". One day he'd quote me one price and the next day bill me double the price. He had a helper that took 6 hours to install a toilet only to have to install a new one the next day. ETC..ETC.. DON'T USE THEM!

Response by Bailey Builders, Inc.: Unfortunately, this lady is a very unhappy person naturally. She says she's a realtor and claims that she has done all types of remodeling. Looking at the condition of her home one would quickly realize that she made several failed attempts at remodeling herself. I never claimed that I was doing the work personally and told her upfront that my installer would be. Yes, he was sick for 2 days, but I couldn't help that. I provide a very detailed estimate that is attached to the contract. Every day she wanted to change or add additional work. Yes, this will sometimes cost extra. Look at the other reviews please!!!

came after me for more money midway through the project knowing I couldnt say no as my loan for the purchase for the house was dependent on it and the extra expenses were from his poor measuring and estimating the removal of existing stairs. Very upset with Bailey and am still considering reporting hm to the FTC.

Response by Bailey Builders, Inc.: Unfortunately this was a very unreasonable client, on a very small job ($3000) to replace front concrete stoop & stairs with a wood structure. After agreeing to a detailed & itemized bid, then submitting drawings to the village for permit, changes required by the village added costs to the project that the client was refusing to pay for. They were legitimate costs that were not included in our original contract. The client wound up paying an additional $350 for these "village" required changes to the scope of work, which really were not needed, but the village has the final word. The client expected us to pay out of our pocket for his costs!

Price was great, craftsmanship was wonderful, accomodated all of our requests, extremely courteous crew, flexible with changes in plans, thorough job of cleaning site daily......we would highly recommend Baily Builders, Inc.
