I had the exterior of my house painted, siding, wood, and doors and trim. I am very pleased with the whole process. The quote process was clear and professional. The team lead visited to discuss the job prior to start. The painting team was friendly and professional. There was a color mix-up for the trim that was promptly corrected without hassle. Rain was an issue and the team opted to skip days to guarantee a quality instead of rushing just to get done. I recieved phone call and email updates as to progress and planned days of work (good communication). The quality of the job was superior. Cleaned up on a daily basis.

My problem lies with the owner, his ethics, and surprise costs. When David Herchko (Owner) came in to give us an estimate for work. I signed the contract for a TOTAL price. When the work was completed, he attempted to charge us a price that was NOT in the contract. I spoke with him about the discrepancy and told him I had already written the check, to which he replied, " Well you can just write another one", with major attitude. The work quality was wonderful, but based on my interaction, I would not recommend hiring this company to anyone.

The saleman and the crew were both very courteous. The crew was very focused on making sure I thought they did a good job. Everything is neatly painted and they cleaned up well after themselves. Time estimates for how long the work would take and when they would arrive were off but didn't negatively impact me. The reason it's not 5 stars is due to the difference between how the saleman says the job will be done and what the work crew actually does. I would recommend them again but with caveats.

Painters must cover better kichen cabinets ,a lot off scraping the top af microvive and cabinets.

The workers and painters did everything they were supposed to do in a complete manner. I also needed some repair work on the deck railing and CertaPro was able to take care of that and built it into the price. I have an unusual color paint that I wanted to keep on the deck and they matched it exactly. Painters were neat and there was no paint in the grass or on the hot tub spa or anywhere it was not supposed to be. One thing I was surprised about CertaPro's policy is that they do not ask for or accept any money upfront. I have never had this experience with any contractor.

Work was done in a timely manner. Gutter clean up was a problem. Paint chips and old caulking left in gutters.

To painters arrived and completed the stairwell and dining room in one day. Job was neatly done. It was a bit pricey but quality work
