Project: Waterproof a Basement or Foundation

Very nice & pleasant to work with. The project was changed from waterproofing the basement to replacing the old cement drain system that had been used for about 50 years. The old drain had completely clogged up and broken in places and therefore was overflowing into the ground and subsequently into our basement. A new drain system and sump pump to transfer water to a master drain was installed. We had to wait a few days after temporary drain installed for it to rain hard enough to make sure that the system was draining right and not overflowing into basement.

Chris and Mark were so respectful and listened to my needs. They did the work in a timely professional manner at the cost of the bid. Chris also did several projects over and above the contract that I asked and did it with the same professional demur....Chris was always available to answer any questions I had at pretty much anytime I had time too!! I would recommend Chris Chapman and his co-workers anyday to my friends and family. Thanks Chris, Mark & Jordan for all their back breaking work on my job!

Project: Clear a Clogged or Slow Drain

We had a drain pipe that was clogged with those flushable wipes, that we have since discovered are not flushable. This was causing water to pour up from our shower stall in the downstairs bathroom whenever water was used anywhere in the house. We called around and couldn't find anyone who could come out immediately, even those services who say they will. Chris Chapman called us within 15 minutes of submitting our request on servicemagic.com. He was here within 45 minutes and had our drain cleared 15 minutes later. He was really professional and a guy I would recommend to anyone.

Your services were great. You were on time and did everything you said you would. Your cleanup was great and you were very flexible. You were the exact opposite of the general contractor horror stories we all hear about.

These guys did a great job. I recently bought a house in Everett that needed a new sewer line in order to meet current city code. Chapman Excavation was third bid. After reviewing the street plans, Chris Chapman saw a better way to do the project than the other bidders, which was also less costly. He confirmed his plan with the city inspector (whom he knows). The project was completed in the estimated time and the crew left little evidence they had been there. Chris and his crew were friendly and professional. Neighbors also commented to me how good of a job they did. Strongly recommend.

From initial contact to completion of project, Chapman was superior in communication, courtesy, expertise, quality of materials and workmanship, and all this at a fair and competitive price. I have already referred friends, neighbors, coworkers, bus mates, and gym friends to Chapman. I plan to have Chapman resolve a few other issues around our house in the near future. Chapman and crew are simply fantastic professionals who implement solutions that are best for the situation and for the homeowner. My wife and I are extremely happy, and relieved, with the way Chapman resolved our numerous sewer and bathroom drainage problems.

Chris Chapman Excavation is a professional company from the bid to the clean up after the work is done. His crew is very expereanced and work from the time they get out of the truck to the time they leave. I would highly recommend them for a small job to the largest.
