I had 800 square feet in 5 rooms and a hallway done, the price he charged was very competative. I had one small area that ended up needing boards replaced and Barry blended them in so well I have difficulty telling which ones were replaced. There was also one small area that I was not satisfied with initially and Barry made sure it was resolved to my expectations. I would hire him and his company again.

Overall, the floors look ok. I never received a WRITTEN estimate before work began. My baseboards have some stain on them which I had to remove. I also had to clean up stain that was spilled in my garage. They told me that they do not do very much refinishing of floors. Their primary work is installing NEW floors. The workers were very pleasant, responded to my questions in a timely manor, and were flexible enough to work around my schedule.

These guys are great. They were responsive and did a great job. My hardwood floors look great and by taking their advise they saved me a lot of money. I would highly recommend hiring Chicago Wood Floors and would use them again myself!

his sanding looked very bad he screened my floors and when he put a new coat down there was dust and dirt all over the ground stuck in the wood missed spots with the varnish and forgot putty in spots

Barry and his crew did an amazing job on my floors! Barry came to my house and within 20 minutes gave me a quote.(which was the lowest quote of 6 different contractors) We scheduled the job immediately. Barry transformed my floors from scuffed and worn to looking brand new. I still can't believe how good they look. I will be calling them to re-finish my bedrooms in the near future. Not only are they efficient but they are also very professional. Barry is a very personable guy, with lots of experience and will make sure that you are satisfied with the work that he and his crew complete.

Barry did a fantastic job. The work was scheduled quickly, the repairs weren't even noticeable, and the price seemed fair. Barry was very personable and knowledge, and made several recommendations to maintain the quality work. I would and have recommended him to others.
