For fireplace and chimney cleaning and inspection, you can't go wrong with this company. The only reason I did not give them 5 stars on Customer Service was this: My appointment time was 10:30am. I waited until 11:30am and still no serviceperson, and no call, so I called customer service. They said the technician had been delayed and that he would be there by noon. He arrived after 1pm, due to unavoidable road detours, which I understood. Once here, he did a very good job. While everyone was friendly and professional, it would have been good for someone-- at some point-- to say, "we're sorry for the inconvenience."

The two Chimney Cricket employees who came to our home were polite, professional, and efficient. I was impressed that they called to let us know that they were running late and asked if it was okay if we pushed back the appointment by an hour. We received the call in ample time to let us know and they arrived at the scheduled time. After shopping around, the cost was hard to beat. The value for the money was definitely wonderful. We've been using our fireplace just about every other day now and everything has been going well!
