Concrete America is a very good company and well worth the price. The did a first rate job for us laying the concrete. We are just waiting for the backfill work to be accomplished. Overall I would recommend this team to anyone.

We used to have an ugly moldy standard 10x10 concrete patio that was cracked in half and sinking into the ground. We hired Concrete America to come out and not only replace but enlarge our backyard patio space. Shawn came out broke up the old patio one day, laid the forms the next and had the concrete poured a day later. The whole crew worked fast and worked hard to give us the best patio possible. He even made me a small pad on the side of my house so I could create a rain barrel system for my garden. My next door neighbor is thinking of enlarging his driveway space and you better believe he's going to have Concrete America take care of it.

He started the project 5 weeks ago and it should have been a one week job. The 30 feet of concrete from my old driveway has taken them 4 weeks to remove. After 5 weeks it is still not prepped to pour concrete. I have not seen the owner, Shawn, since I signed the contract and he does not communicate very well. I am very disappointed in someone who showed good feedback from your sight.

Response by Concrete America: This job was done in Dec. We had crazy weather problems. Homeowner also got 4" of crush and run. Among many other extras

Started project on Friday left the yard a mess. Boards and piles of dirt on the yard which left dead spots. After the project was complete. back patio shows rock and It will wash away when it rains. The owners response was I had to buy dirt and fill it in. and also the driveway and sidewalk was left with 2 inch gap along each side. Not filled in. I had to buy dirt to fill in so nobody breaks their ankle. I had to call and have him return to pick up all the cement and bricks that was left all over my yard. Left the street a mess from the slurry. He did clean up somewhat. May be good on small jobs but not professional job for large projects

Response by Concrete America: job was not even close to being a mess, i am very clean. this homeowner asked me to raise his back patio because of flooding, i told him he would need fill dirt, this guy was very rude and no matter what i did, he was not happy. She walked around jobsite, said "looks awesome, i love it" and handed me my final check. shawn, owner aoncrete america

These guys did a GREAT job! Very professional and easy to work with. They did what they said they were going to and did it well. Shawn was very good to work with. Got the estimate done and within the same week work was done. Would definitely recommend them to others!! Totally satisfied with quality of work and workers.
