every thing was good except for the price, initially i was given a bid of 200 dollars wich I felt was on the high side given the amount of time involved to do this small job, then for no peticular reason it jumped to 250, made me later feel like i was taken advantage of, next time i will shop for another bid

Response by Croz Custom Metal Fabrication: This repair was straight forward and would have been within the budget of this customer; however the customer requested additional security measures added to prevent unattended child entry to the pool area. I recommended that the customer provide the hardware I would require for these added modifications which would keep the cost down but the customer wanted me to pick up the supplies. Being a "Saturday" I had to use Lowes for the double Pad locks and additional hardware. This explains the added cost. The total was $255.27. My Estimate for the original repairs (I do not Bid) was 2.0 hrs and I spent more than 4.0 hrs dedicated to this project.
