We are very happy with the work of Al & his crew. They showed up on time and were very respectful of our home. We will hire him again for future projects. 1/30/13 We had an emergency due to the radiator cap under the floor in the remodeled bathroom. Al called me back quickly and came that very day and quickly and efficiently fixed the radiator. The steam was coming up inside the wall & shorting out the exhaust fan & heater. We are very grateful to Al for standing behind his work and remedying the prob.

Based on other reviews I was expecting a good experience. While they did tell me they were squezing me in before Thanksgiving, they should have just been honest and said they were too busy. They did not show up more than once for a job I was told would take only three days total. After 5 days I called in a different painter to take over that part of the job and he needed to replace 80% of the tape and spackle "completed" by Al and his crew. Tile was sloppy and unprofessional. They did return to fix missing grout and crooked tiles however there are still gaps in the grout which I will have fixed by someone else.

Response by Custom Tek Home Improvements: We take great pride in our work and our reviews reflect that. We never "squeeze" someone in. We contracted with the homeowner and after the first day of work we were surprised to see he hired another contractor.

Al was very nice to work with and to deal with. He was very informative and went the extra mile to make me happy. I would without a doubt recommend him to anyone who needs some work done. FYI With every job there is always going to be a punch list for items that need to completed and with Al, there was but it was smaller than I expected it to be.

Custom Tek did our bathroom remodeling. They are excellent crew. Al is very professional and does everything with perfection. They are also ok pricewise. I would definitely recommend them to anyone. Our bathroom looks really good.
