Hello. My Name is David Jones owner of DSC Home Inspections. Let me tell you about me and my company. I started in construction after getting out of the military. The construction business led me to Virginia 20 years ago. Here I worked for a general contractor for 12 years. After freezing in the winter and enduring the heat of summer, I decided I needed something better for my family and myself. I had the chance to talk to a home inspector and decided this would work for me; so I started my own company. After a slow start I went to work for a residential home buyer for 2 years and got on my feet. So here we are today. I am an ASHI Member (American Society of Home Inspectors), Virginia Certified Home Inspector and Diaster (PaRR-FEMA) Inspector and I enjoy pleasing my clients.

David spent almost 3 hours inspecting the family house we are purchasing. he was very detailed in his review and ensured that the inspection was very thorough. David also spent considerable time in explaining all the different areas and giving tips on howto better manage our new house. This is our first home purchase and his information was invaluable. It was clear during the inspection that David was very well seasoned in his field of work and made us very comfortable with our new purchase. Even our real estate agent made a comment that most inspectors are in a rush to finish the work so they can go on to the next client.HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

We were so pleased with David's job! Don't look any further if you want a reliable and honest home inspector. We contacted Dave at a short notice. He responded to us the same day and we scheduled the appointment the next day. He arrived at the site before we came. While going through the house he explained us potential problems with the house. Dave was very thorough and explained us what he was testing and why. He even taught us home maintenance tips! David provided us with the detailed report and the pictures of the problem areas. And what a value for money! It was so worth it hiring him. Thank you, David!

After reading David's reviews, I knew he was more than qualified to tackle my headache--or rather, the leak in my home. Not only did his dynamic camera find where the water was entering inside my home, but he worked tirelessly on the exterior to locate the entry points and seal the gaps (notice I said "entry points" and "gaps" - plural). Thanks David, for allowing me to be frustrated and then you'd calmly, say, "Water can be your best friend or your worst enemy. We'll get it." And true to your word, you got it. And he doesn't charge you an arm and leg!
