How We Got Started

I chose to work in this industry because it's different everyday and I love meeting new people and helping. Moving is a stressful time and it's my job to relieve that stress by being in total control of every aspect of the move. I was inspired to go into the transportation industry by a prominent business person in the community where I grew up. I started my company to provide a personal level of service to my customers in contrast to the culture of many of the large moving concerns. .

We started in this industry in 1986.

Project: Find Moving Services - Local (Within State)
I have used Delicato Transport for several moves over the past 5 years and have never been disappointed. The estimates were spot on and the moves went very smoothly. I highly recommend Delicato Transport for all types of moves.

Some furniture was damaged and some other furniture was not completely reassembled.
Response by Delicato Transport, LLC: I was unaware of any damage or problems with your move, I have no notations on the paperwork and you did not contact me. If anything was left undone or you have any damage please contact us to schedule a service call. We always repair any damage that may occur during a move and your satisfaction if important to us.

Beware! Delicato damaged my furniture and grossly underestimated the amount of time it would take, despite Joe claiming to be "extremely accurate with his estimates". The movers lied to me about a missing piece that they didn't remember moving, which I later found smashed in a dumpster, they covered up cracks on another piece with movers���������������� tape, and another piece went missing altogether without explanation. The Service Contract was not even followed appropriately (i.e.I have photos of my mattresses that were not protected with plastic, resulting in holes & dirt stains).

We have a A+ rating with the BBB and thousands of satisfied customers. This reviewer who declines to include her name did have some damage on her move unfortunately but when we attempted to make repairs and provide compensation she declined and decided to sue us. When she lost and was awarded the compensation that I had offered because it was fair and equitable she was dissatisfied and has written this review out of frustration. Sometime things happen on a move but we always do everything in our power to satisfy our customers.

The movers who came were very efficient and helpful; they worked very diligently and tried to accommodate whatever I asked of them. I would highly recommend them.

The move just took longer than anticipated and cost us more also, but it was understandable and not the company's fault. I would recommend and rehire them for other jobs.

This was my 12th move in my lifetime and I have never ever had such a horrible experience as with �delicato� movers.

I have reviewed your file and see no notations about problems other than a broken lamp that it appears you were credited for on move day. I would absolutely recommend Delicato Transport to friends, colleagues or anyone I know looking to move. Joe came in and gave me a very reasonable price. I was extremely impressed with the professionalism of the movers and their consistent communication throughout the process. They also took very good care of all my items and helped me unpack!!! How incredible is that. I have worked with several movers over the years in various states and they do not even compare in the very least to Delicato. I have had things damaged by movers in the past but not Delicato. They even accommodated my early morning move schedule and were at my place at 6:45am!
