There is no way I can say enough good things about John. He helped me find the best solution for dealing with our to small septic system, to small back yard and to small brained Boulder County department. He had to listen to me tell him to move a little tree many many times and cleaned up the site nice and neat when job was complete. On top of all this he was very very nice to work with... Will hire him when we go to build our new house for everything I can use him for.

James Culver did a big job for me on short notice up against short deadlines and with a holiday thrown in the mix. He went out of his way to ensure permits, inspections and engineering solutions were coordinated inside a brutal timeframe.

Project: Grade or Reslope Grounds for Landscaping

I had a small drainage issue at my house which was causing rainwater (from gutters) to pool outside and eventually come in through the foundation. I talked with three landscape contractors about it. John was the first to call me, he asked the most questions, he had the most detailed bid, and he cost less than some of the others as well. He trenched and installed a french drain, and did a super job all around. From his website it looks like he specializes in bulldozers and commercial-scale regrading projects, but don't be mistaken - this was a residential job and he worked around fences, flagstones, existing foundation, etc.

John Culver did all the difficult labor himself. He raked-up and removed approx. 50 tons of rocks and dirt and old liner material, replaced the area with new liner and river rock in less than 4 days. He worked consecutive days until the job was done (including Sat.). He did a great thorough job, and was a pleasure to work with. John is a through-back to the old days, when people actually did what they say they will. I highly recommend this individual for your project.
