The hot weather slowed installation, but is now complete. I have them coming back for additional sodding job. Project took less than an hour.

Eric was very helpful and his team turned up when expected, There were a few gaps where pieces of sod were not put close enough together but apart from that, a good experience.
Response by E & J Sodding, LLC: I spoke with the customer today. Gaps happen when walking on the sod before it has rooted. This is a commom problem because it is necessary to walk on it when the sprinkler needs to be moved during the watering process. So, it is essential to walk on the edges of the pieces rather than in the middle to prevent the edges from pulling in and creating a gap. I have asked her to walk on the edges and "kick in" the edges that have the gaps to remedy this issue. She plans to try these suggestions and revisit her rating in 2 weeks.

A lot of dead patches and still have not come to replace
Response by E & J Sodding, LLC: Dead patches are due to lack of water, which isn't covered. Explained to customer that our schedule was backed up because of the late rain season. We replaced the dead patches on 6/27/11 free of charge. The customer was pleased. I have asked him to update his review.

I thought I would wait along time before responding to this request. The sod was very brown when laid down. i watered and watered and watered some parts was dead on delivery. I waited 2 weeks before cutting as recommed It got worse after cutting it. I gave him a call to have a look at it, he never came out nor called. I've now had to over seed it and I'm hoping for the best.
Response by E & J Sodding, LLC: After talking with this client and inspecting the sodded area, it was found that it wasn't being watered enough for the dry time of the year. Our apologies were made for not making our appointment but we had two deaths in the family and it was overlooked. The sod has now made a good comeback. Seed takes a good 6 weeks to really take hold. So the seed only showed up in sparse sprigs. I believe the client to be satisfied at this time.

The price was outstanding and the sod laid was beautiful. They worked fast and clean and even moved the underground dog fence. The only thing keeping it from 5 stars was the transitions from sod to non-sod weren't cut lower and left a bit of a shelf.
Response by E & J Sodding, LLC: The customer was contacted to explain that the sod to non-sod transition situation is to allow the ground to settle and the new sod to line up with the old.

Overall a very good experience. Prompt, showed up when they were supposed to. Cleaned up after they were finished. Fixed a few extra spots for me that needed it. Courteous, nice respectfull crew. I gave them 5 stars because I felt they went beyond the services that i was quoted. Now, only time will tell if the sod that was laid will take. It has made a huge difference in my backyard so far. I would recommend them.
