How We Got Started

I chose to work in this industry because Fix Cut Haul was developed by demand for honest/hardworking individuals to backfill those who are hanging up the hard hats and tool belts in exchange for retirement every day. Knowledge to fix, repair and work hard is leaving the public at a rapid rate with no end in sight. The company focuses on the job at hand, but still works with it's clients to educate and in many cases to be educated. Much like the days gone bye where a plumber could also paint and an electrician could do tiling or cut the grass; Fix Cut Haul wants to offer its clients everything they need for home and business..

We started in this industry in 2002.

Received quote quickly by email. I approved quote on a Fri or Sat for work to begin. Monday morning, Aaron was cutting down the correct tree. He cleaned up branches & sticks and ground down stump as requested. He was flexible enough to do to more items: trim bushes away from house and clean up leaves. He didn't gouge me for the add-ons, was very quick at completing work. He was short-handed that day so he had to go get different truck to haul wood away, which was fine with me. I could see he was working fast and completed the job well. I would definitely recommend this company for small trees, brush/shrubs, and leaves. Aaron even took time to talk to my Mom even though he was short-handed and doing several jobs throughout the day.

I was EXTREMELY satisfied with the services of this company. They were able to haul all my stuff away the same day and were MORE than reasonable with their price. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

This house is in deplorable condition. Aaron was very friendly and professional. Friday's are usually the days the do estimates only, however, Aaron was able to take the refrigerator full of rotten food out that day!! We appreciate Aaron for his help in this matter and will definitely be calling him again in the future!

I had originally requested a bid from this company for an appliance install. I no longer needed the service, but after talking with Aaron I received a bid for staining our deck. Initially we were pleased with the communication and timeliness of Aaron and his crew. Our bid was for clean and prep of the deck, tightening some screws and replacing a few boards. The deck was stained in the incorrect color, the work was patchy and there was several missed spots along with splattered stain on our siding. Also the few boards were never replaced. Aaron had initially stated they would correct their mistake, but over a month had past and my attempts at communication with Aaron were not being returned. Finally he returned and email and requested us to pay for the correct stain color up front because they were already out materials and labor on their first attempt on our deck. Poor work, poor integrity and he apparently does not follow the guarantee on their website and advertisement.
Response by Fix Cut Haul: After nearly completing the job and the customer watching everything take place, she informed us that it was not the color that she wanted. We immediately acknowledged that it was 1 shade off and we would be willing to correct it, however, we were not allowed to correct it in the way that we felt it needed to be. There was endless demands on how we were to correct the issue. Rather than simply put a second coat on which is often done she required us to strip the deck and sand the entire thing and start over. I tried to explain that the request wasn't realistic and that two coats of stain is normal. Despite talking to the manufacturer and having them verify my recommendation she would not allow it. No money has been taken for this job. Fix Cut Haul is out $200 in materials, $350 in labor and we still got a 0.5 on value for the money. BEFORE & AFTER PICTURES are available upon request of this project. Pictures show we started with a solid greed deck covered with scum and ended up with a nice looking deck stained slightly the wrong color that ABSOLUTELY NO MONEY HAS BEEN COLLECTED for. Several contractors have flagged this customer for not paying their balance. HomeAdvisor please investigate.

Project: Trim Trees
Aaron was fantastic. We are going to stick with him for our future tree trimming/removal, as well as designate him our family's handyman. He took the time to talk us through things, ask questions, and even offer extra advice and tips on things he knew we were doing around the home. Affordable prices mixed with his friendliness and quality of work will definitely set us a returning customer. We feel very blessed to have found this company.
