Project: Repair or Service a Water Heater
Rick from Gas services was able to come out and diagnose our bad water heater on Mothers Day and then replace it the next day. He was very professorial as well as proficient as the job was completed when he said it would be and we are very satisfied with the job.

Project: Repair Natural Gas or Propane Furnace / Forced Air Heating System
Lots of "wanne be's" out there.... but Gas Service of Merrimack is a true no nonsense professional. We had a problem with the vent controllers and thermostats plus gas furnace was in dire need of a inspection tuneup. A initial entry into Home Advisor at 9AM and I received a phone call from Gas Service of Merimack within 20 minutes of entry. Rick S the owner introduced himself and came out for a estimate same day. Within two days and all is fixed and we are very pleased with the service. For the record I am not in any way connected to this business and yes, a definite positive as to hiring Rick S. again should my other properties require it.

Project: Install or Replace a Water Heater
They were very prompt and responded quickly. They came in and did clean quality work. There was a defect in the blower because this was a power vented unit. The defect was noticed the next day. I called them back and they came out within the hour and fixed the issue.
Response by Gas Service of Merrimack, Inc.: We went back and found a loose outlett plug on the draft motor istead of spreading out the a/c progs we decided to chage out the draft unit and not risk a call back.

Rick is a great contractor. I was looking for some assistance to rewire some thermostats in my house. He came up with a solution which gave me the most flexibilty. Rick ordered the parts and executed on the job. When he left he made sure the area he was working in was clean which was nice. Any future work I need on my furnace will be Rick's.
