General Repair Service had an inexpensive hourly rate - which doesn't matter when they take twice the amount of time that another handyman would have needed. I was unimpressed with their professionalism - speaking to other clients on the phone while at out house and gone for an hour "getting materials". Also, it took them six weeks to bill us, and when they did it was for 2 hours longer than they had worked. We will not be calling them again.

The job was finished, and he had a window specially built to fit our needs. He was courteous and showed up as requested, and his rates seemed reasonable to me. Most other contractors tried to sell us vinyl windows or more expensive projects. But we had a wooden window that needed to be replaced and he offered the service that we requested. I have already called him to help me with another job, doing carpentry in my kitchen because of rat damage.
